Our September Business Forum was
a great success. Our representatives, Sentor James Rosapepe and
Delegate Barbara Frush spent an 1 1/2 hours talking about the
past and upcoming legislative sessions, and the special session
everyone is expecting in November.They answered our questions. The Laurel Board of Trade sponsors a Business Forum every other month. Our new format - beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a 1 hour networking session followed by a 1 hour presentation - has been a great success. The networking allows everyone to introduce themselves and their interests to the group - connections are made and joint ventures established. Our Business Forums are held in the (swimming) Pool Meeting Room located at 9th and Main Streets, Laurel. Our next Business Forum is March 21, 2007. Patuxent Publishing of Columbia will give a presentation of "Effective Advertising." Our Business Forums are FREE of charge to everyone.
